Joan Miró lithographs

Joan Miró was a true master of the lithograph. The artist allowed his hand to move poetically on the surface, leaving the artwork to chance, and enabled him to create works that were genuine reflections of himself. Miró's lithographs are recognized for their dynamic interplay of colour, form and abstraction. These works are a substantial portion of the artist's oeuvre offered for sale in the art market today. Many collectors prefer to buy Miró's more accessible lithographs than his etchings with aquatint and carborundum.
